#FoodForThought Challenge

It can be challenging to come up with interesting meal ideas when your food is picked out for you, especially if you have dietary restrictions. That is one of the challenges that our neighbours in need face everyday. We challenge you to create a meal every week out of the list of food items that were distributed by a local food bank! These are real lists of food packages/boxes that were distributed to those in need in our community.

Share your recipe, a picture of the meal or a cooking selfie on social media with #FoodForThought. Reach out to your friends and family to take the challenge and to sponsor you!

Click the sign up button below to take the challenge! You can create a team, join a team or join as an individual! It is a great way to spread awareness of food insecurity and make a difference this Hunger Action Month!
